I. Purchase

If you are on trial and purchase 1 subscription, this subscription will be available 1 year from the day you make the purchase.

If you already have an active license and purchase one or more licenses of the same type,

 Finish date will be calculated like this:

           daysToAdd = (daysRemained + daysPurchased)/totalQuantity

          newExpirationDate = actualDate + daysToAdd

       EX.  You have a license that expires on 4/18/2018.

               You want to purchase  2 more licenses on 5/18/2017.

               daysRemained = (oldExpirationDate – actualDate) * oldQuantity ó

               daysRemained = (4/18/2018 – 5/18/2017) * 1 = 335 days.

               daysPurchased = newQuantityPurchased * 365 = 2 * 365 = 730 days

              totalQuantity = oldQuantity + newQuantityPurchased = 1 + 2 = 3

              daysToAdd = (335 + 730) / 3 = 355 days

              newExpirationDate = 5/18/2017 + 335days = 8/5/2018

If you have expired license/s and you purchase one or more licenses of the same type, the quantity in database will be the new quantity purchased and the expiration date will be after 1 year from the day you make the new purchase.

     Ex. You have 3 expired licenses of the same type with expiration date on 4/18/2017.

          On 5/18/2017 you purchase 2 licenses.

          totalQuantity = 2;

          ExpirationDate = 5/18/2018

   II. Renew

If you renew the same quantity of licenses and the actual licenses are not expired.

            Ex. You have 3 licenses that expires on 6/18/2017.

                   On 5/18/2017 you renew the same quantity of subscriptions

                   totalQuantity = 3

                   ExpirationDate = 6/18/2018

If you renew a smaller quantity of licenses and the actual licenses are not expired

     Ex. You have 3 license that expires on 7/18/2017.

           You renew 2 licenses on 5/18/2017.

           totalQuantity = 2;

           ExpirationDate = 7/18/2018

If you renew a bigger quantity of licenses and the actual licenses are not expired

     Ex. You have 3 licenses that expires on 7/18/2017

           You renew 5 licenses on 5/18/2017

           daysToAdd = (daysRemained + daysPurchased)/totalQuantity

            newExpirationDate = actualDate + daysToAdd

            daysRemained = (oldExpirationDate – actualDate) * oldQuantity ó

            daysRemained = (7/18/2017 – 5/18/2017) * 3 = 186 days.

             daysPurchased = newQuantityRenew* 365 = 5 * 365 = 1825 days

             totalQuantity = newQuantityRenew = 5

             daysToAdd = (186+ 1825) / 5 = 402 days

             newExpirationDate = 5/18/2017 + 402 days = 6/23/2018

If you renew no matter what quantity of licenses and the actual licenses are expired.

     Ex. You have 3 licenses that expired on 4/18/2017.

           On 5/18/2017 you renew 6 licenses.

           totalQuantity=6

           ExpirationDate = 5/18/2018
